Two things, neither of which are not on point here but I could not find any other way to share with you.
First, I got an error message when I tried to email you. "Users quota exceeded" Might want to look into that.
Second, a short story I thought you might enjoy even though they don't use the correct name for our father.
Thanks,

Thought you might enjoy this if you had not seen it already.

                                  Subject: God Vs. Science

This gets pretty deep, but read to the end and you will be surprised when you find out who the participants of the conversation were.

                                      God vs. Science READ THIS

'Let me explain the problem science has with religion.'

The atheist professor of philosophy pauses before his class and then asks one of his new students to stand.

                                     'You're a Christian, aren't you, son?'

                                      'Yes sir,' the student says.

                                      'So you believe in God?'

                                      'Absolutely. '

                                      'Is God good?'

                                      'Sure! God's good.'

'Is God all-powerful? Can God do anything?'

                                      'Yes'

                                      'Are you good or evil?'

                                      'The Bible says I'm evil.'

The professor grins knowingly. 'Aha! The Bible! He considers for a moment. 'Here's one for you. Let's say there's a sick person over here and you can cure him. You can do it. Would you help him? Would you try?'

                                      'Yes sir, I would.'

                                      'So you're good!'

                                      'I wouldn't say that.'

'But why not say that? You'd help a sick and maimed person if you could. Most of us would if we could. But God doesn't.'

The student does not answer, so the professor continues. 'He doesn't, does he? My brother was a Christian who died of cancer, even though he prayed to Jesus to heal him. How is this Jesus good? Can you answer that one?'

The student remains silent. 'No, you can't, can you?', the professor says. He takes a sip of water from a glass on his desk to give the student time to relax. 'Let's start again, young fella. Is God good?'

                                      'Er..yes,' the student says.

                                      'Is Satan good?'

The student doesn't hesitate on this one. 'No.'

'Then where does Satan come from?'

                                      The student falters. 'From God'

'That's right. God made Satan, didn't he? Tell me, son. Is there evil in this world?'

                                      'Yes, sir..'

'Evil's everywhere, isn't it? And God did make everything, correct?'

                                      'Yes'

'So who created evil?' The professor continued, 'If God created everything, then God created evil, since evil exists, and according to the principle that our works define who we are, then God is evil.'

Again, the student has no answer. 'Is there sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness? All these terrible things, do they exist in this world?'

The student squirms on his feet. 'Yes.'

                                     'So who created them?'

The student does not answer again, so the professor repeats his question. 'Who created them?' There is still no answer. Suddenly the lecturer breaks away to pace in front of the classroom. The class is mesmerized. 'Tell me,' he continues onto another student. 'Do you believe in Jesus Christ, son?'

The student's voice betrays him and cracks. 'Yes, professor, I do.'

The old man stops pacing. 'Science says you have five senses you use to identify and observe the world around you. Have you ever seen Jesus?'

'No sir. I've never seen Him.'

'Then tell us if you've ever heard your Jesus?'

                                      'No, sir, I have not..'

'Have you ever felt your Jesus, tasted your Jesus or smelt your Jesus? Have you ever had any sensory perception of Jesus Christ, or God for that matter?'

                                      'No, sir, I'm afraid I haven't.'

'Yet you still believe in him?'

                                      'Yes'

'According to the rules of empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, science says your God doesn't exist. What do you say to that, son?'

'Nothing,' the student replies.. 'I only have my faith.'

'Yes, faith,' the professor repeats. 'And that is the problem science has with God. There is no evidence, only faith.'

The student stands quietly for a moment, before asking a question of His own. 'Professor, is there such thing as heat? '

                                      Yes.

'And is there such a thing as cold?'

                                      'Yes, son, there's cold too.'

                                      'No sir, there isn't.'

The professor turns to face the student, obviously interested. The room suddenly becomes very quiet. The student begins to explain. 'You can have lots of heat, even more heat, super-heat, mega-heat, unlimited heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat, but we don't have anything called 'cold'. We can get down to 458 degrees below zero, which is no heat, but we can't go any further after that. There is no such thing as cold; otherwise we would be able to go colder than the lowest -458 degrees. Every body or object is susceptible to study when it has or transmits energy, and heat is what makes a body or matter have or transmit energy. Absolute zero (-458 F) is the total absence of heat. You see, sir, cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat. We cannot measure cold. Heat we can measure in thermal units because heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it.'

Silence across the room. A pen drops somewhere in the classroom, sounding like a hammer.

'What about darkness, professor. Is there such a thing as darkness?'

'Yes,' the professor replies without hesitation. 'What is night if it isn't darkness?'

'You're wrong again, sir. Darkness is not something; it is the absence of something. You can have low light, normal light, bright light, flashing light, but if you have no light constantly you have nothing and it's called darkness, isn't it? That's the meaning we use to define the word. In reality, darkness isn't. If it were, you would be able to make darkness darker, wouldn't you?'

The professor begins to smile at the student in front of him. This will be a good semester. 'So what point are you making, young man?'

'Yes, professor. My point is, your philosophical premise is flawed to start with, and so your conclusion must also be flawed.'

The professor's face cannot hide his surprise this time. 'Flawed? Can you explain how?'

'You are working on the premise of duality,' the student explains. 'You argue that there is life and then there's death; a good God and a bad God. You are viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, science can't even explain a thought.' 'It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one. To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing. Death is not the opposite of life, just the absence of it.' 'Now tell me, professor. Do you teach your students that they evolved from a monkey?'

'If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, young man, yes, of course I do.'

'Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?'

The professor begins to shake his head, still smiling, as he realizes where the argument is going. A very good semester, indeed.

'Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor, are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you now not a scientist, but a preacher?'

The class is in uproar. The student remains silent until the commotion has subsided. 'To continue the point you were making earlier to the other student, let me give you an example of what I mean.' The student looks around the room. 'Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the professor's brain?' The class breaks out into laughter. 'Is there anyone here who has ever heard the professor's brain, felt the professor's brain, touched or smelt the professor's brain? No one appears to have done so. So, according to the established rules of empirical, stable, demonstrable protocol, science says that you have no brain, with all due respect, sir.' 'So if science says you have no brain, how can we trust your lectures, sir?'

Now the room is silent. The professor just stares at the student, his face unreadable. Finally, after what seems an eternity, the old man answers. 'I Guess you'll have to take them on faith.'

'Now, you accept that there is faith, and, in fact, faith exists with life,' the student continues. 'Now, sir, is there such a thing as evil?' Now uncertain, the professor responds, 'Of course, there is. We see it everyday. It is in the daily example of man's inhumanity to man. It is in the multitude of crime and violence everywhere in the world. These manifestations are nothing else but evil.'

To this the student replied, 'Evil does not exist sir, or at least it does not exist unto itself. Evil is simply the absence of God. It is just like darkness and cold, a word that man has created to describe the absence of God. God did not create evil. Evil is the result of what happens when man does not have God's love present in his heart. It's like the cold that comes when there is no heat or the darkness that comes when there is no light.'

                                  The professor sat down.

                                  ==============================

If you read this all the way through and had a smile on your face when you finished, mail to your friends and family with the title 'God vs. Science'

PS: the student was Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein wrote a book titled God vs. Science in 1921.

                                      ‘Is Satan good?’

The student doesn’t hesitate on this one. ‘No.’

‘Then where does Satan come from?’

                                      The student falters. ‘From God’

‘That’s right. God made Satan, didn’t he? Tell me, son. Is there evil in this world?’

                                      ‘Yes, sir..’

‘Evil’s everywhere, isn’t it? And God did make everything, correct?’

                                      ‘Yes’

‘So who created evil?’ The professor continued, ‘If God created everything, then God created evil, since evil exists, and according to the principle that our works define who we are, then God is evil.’

Again, the student has no answer. ‘Is there sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness? All these terrible things, do they exist in this world?’

The student squirms on his feet. ‘Yes.’

                                     ‘So who created them?’

The student does not answer again, so the professor repeats his question. ‘Who created them?’ There is still no answer. Suddenly the lecturer breaks away to pace in front of the classroom. The class is mesmerized. ‘Tell me,’ he continues onto another student. ‘Do you believe in Jesus Christ, son?’

The student’s voice betrays him and cracks. ‘Yes, professor, I do.’

The old man stops pacing. ‘Science says you have five senses you use to identify and observe the world around you. Have you ever seen Jesus?’

‘No sir. I’ve never seen Him.’

‘Then tell us if you’ve ever heard your Jesus?’

                                      ‘No, sir, I have not..’

‘Have you ever felt your Jesus, tasted your Jesus or smelt your Jesus? Have you ever had any sensory perception of Jesus Christ, or God for that matter?’

                                      ‘No, sir, I’m afraid I haven’t.’

‘Yet you still believe in him?’

                                      ‘Yes’

‘According to the rules of empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, science says your God doesn’t exist. What do you say to that, son?’

‘Nothing,’ the student replies.. ‘I only have my faith.’

‘Yes, faith,’ the professor repeats. ‘And that is the problem science has with God. There is no evidence, only faith.’

The student stands quietly for a moment, before asking a question of His own. ‘Professor, is there such thing as heat? ‘

                                      Yes.

‘And is there such a thing as cold?’

                                      ‘Yes, son, there’s cold too.’

                                      ‘No sir, there isn’t.’

The professor turns to face the student, obviously interested. The room suddenly becomes very quiet. The student begins to explain. ‘You can have lots of heat, even more heat, super-heat, mega-heat, unlimited heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat, but we don’t have anything called ‘cold’. We can get down to 458 degrees below zero, which is no heat, but we can’t go any further after that. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it.’

Silence across the room. A pen drops somewhere in the classroom, sounding like a hammer.

‘What about darkness, professor. Is there such a thing as darkness?’

‘Yes,’ the professor replies without hesitation. ‘What is night if it isn’t darkness?’

‘You’re wrong again, sir. Darkness is not something; it is the absence of something. You can have low light, normal light, bright light, flashing light, but if you have no light constantly you have nothing and it’s called darkness, isn’t it? That’s the meaning we use to define the word. In reality, darkness isn’t. If it were, you would be able to make darkness darker, wouldn’t you?’

The professor begins to smile at the student in front of him. This will be a good semester. ‘So what point are you making, young man?’

‘Yes, professor. My point is, your philosophical premise is flawed to start with, and so your conclusion must also be flawed.’

The professor’s face cannot hide his surprise this time. ‘Flawed? Can you explain how?’

‘You are working on the premise of duality,’ the student explains. ‘You argue that there is life and then there’s death; a good God and a bad God. You are viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, science can’t even explain a thought.’ ‘It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one. To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing. Death is not the opposite of life, just the absence of it.’ ‘Now tell me, professor. Do you teach your students that they evolved from a monkey?’

‘If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, young man, yes, of course I do.’

‘Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?’

The professor begins to shake his head, still smiling, as he realizes where the argument is going. A very good semester, indeed.

‘Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor, are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you now not a scientist, but a preacher?’

The class is in uproar. The student remains silent until the commotion has subsided. ‘To continue the point you were making earlier to the other student, let me give you an example of what I mean.’ The student looks around the room. ‘Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the professor’s brain?’ The class breaks out into laughter. ‘Is there anyone here who has ever heard the professor’s brain, felt the professor’s brain, touched or smelt the professor’s brain? No one appears to have done so. So, according to the established rules of empirical, stable, demonstrable protocol, science says that you have no brain, with all due respect, sir.’ ‘So if science says you have no brain, how can we trust your lectures, sir?’

Now the room is silent. The professor just stares at the student, his face unreadable. Finally, after what seems an eternity, the old man answers. ‘I Guess you’ll have to take them on faith.’

‘Now, you accept that there is faith, and, in fact, faith exists with life,’ the student continues. ‘Now, sir, is there such a thing as evil?’ Now uncertain, the professor responds, ‘Of course, there is. We see it everyday. It is in the daily example of man’s inhumanity to man. It is in the multitude of crime and violence everywhere in the world. These manifestations are nothing else but evil.’

To this the student replied, ‘Evil does not exist sir, or at least it does not exist unto itself. Evil is simply the absence of God. It is just like darkness and cold, a word that man has created to describe the absence of God. God did not create evil. Evil is the result of what happens when man does not have God’s love present in his heart. It’s like the cold that comes when there is no heat or the darkness that comes when there is no light.’

                                  The professor sat down.

                                  ==============================

If you read this all the way through and had a smile on your face when you finished, mail to your friends and family with the title ‘God vs. Science’

PS: the student was Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein wrote a book titled God vs. Science in 1921.

The WHAT? Sounds like some misleading financial product. I would say run away. If you are referring to Social Security, that is a very wise investment. Keep in mind that Old-Age, Survivors, and Disability Insurance provides a lot more than just retirement income. Most people ignore the fact that the S and D portions, which are quite significant, are not part of 401(k) plans. 401(k) plans are subject to market conditions and investment choices. Unlike 401(k) plans, Social Security guarantees your payout AND provides an automatic annual cost-of-living increase.

Hi Karen,
My article wasn't about throwing stones. The point was that today's so called "jews" aren't the Biblical Israelites even according to their own reference books. We are involved in an unecessary military quagmire in the middle east primarily because the American clergy keep teaching that "the jews are God's chosen" therefore we have to sacrifice our own nation's safety to support the United Nations state of Israeli. In fact the whole mess in the middle east revolves around today's Jewish claim to be Israel, when the truth is they are the Edomites and Turk Khazars. How can supporting a lie and a false claim bring glory to God or be good for America? Here is a primer on who the Israelites are. It is a good article to begin studies into God's Word on this subject:

i believe in kens teachings as far as the christmas and easter being pagan and GODs name refering to lord or baal..it is true..but to start throwing stones and casting lots on who the chosen people and nation is..well that taking it a bit too far and only GOD can be the judge of that..we are not to call names concerning His people since the cursing and blessings are still in effect concerning them..so i would beware of what we are sayin here.think about this

Anybody want a couple of heirloom winter squash seeds for this summer's garden? These things store a LONG time on the shelf over winter with no refrigeration needed. First come first serve for about 6 seeds sent by mail. Better get 'em before the end of April so you can plant them soon. I only have about 60 extra seeds so the first 10 people get them. Don't post your mailing address here. E-mail me at 888@solarsabbath.org

Survival Skill:

Prayer we should never forget our one benefit we have over and above all else we do and will have to rely upon yes our skill and wits that is prayer now I am not the brightest light in the bunch I honestly can only read and gain knowledge at this time not that I don't want to gain the hands on skills however with this economy I can't afford to if I miss a day of work I can't make my living expenses and I am barely doing that I don't have a vehicle anymore so that leaves out a lot I could learn however I do have prayer I may not see my answer today or tomorrow but God is faithful and when the time is right or the circumstances that need to be in place for me and the door is opened I know Father will place me where I need to be to learn to practice it may be hands on alone or it may come in another way but I pray trusting That Father hears and the Answer is coming or being prepared for me. It took a few years for Father to help me through my situation with my ex and there was much work done in my heart to prepare me to be able to SAY enough is enough and my prayer was Answered I was strengthened to be able to Choose Gods way over wanting security with someone who not only did not Love Father but who believed he could do as he pleased and not have to worry about having to have a conscience or be reprimanded by breaking Gods laws as well as He could sin and not have to worry about anything He took Gods word and twisted what truth He thought he knew to mean whatever he wanted it to mean even to the point of thinking God was leading Him in the direction he choose to take. However I knew I could not compromise on what Father's word says and is and to follow someone on a path of destruction willingly to my understanding is harmful to my relationship with Father and well as difficult as it has been I am confident that Choosing Fathers leading and what He caused to happen to sever ties between us and keep me safe was answered not in the way I was hoping for but Father has his reasons and I accept His knowledge is far greater than mine so being financially strapped as I am I am content and happy for the first time in many years even with this shaky economy with this age coming to its end I can Say in All things I can put my trust in Father and I know I am secure there regardless of the circumstances I think we forget the small miracle's or blessings that come our way. No I don't have a vehicle but I don't have to pay auto insurance no I don't have money for big ticket items for survival gear but I believe Father will bring that second income job soon that I need so I can get those things no I don't have many survival skills But I have a loving Father who has promised to not forsake me and hasn't yet and my trust is in Him maybe that was part of my lesson was to see I could depend on Him alone for all of my needs great and small after all I did make it from Texas with the help of family and friends I did make it back here I am making it now so I just want everyone to be encouraged to not forsake prayer it does work it is our safety net He is our Rock our hiding place and nothing is impossible For God to those who love Him. We don't have a page dedicated for giving accounts of blessings we have received so I am placing this one here on the Survival blog and I actually think it is the first survival tool we need it costs nothing but some time talking to Father and we can do that at any time of day or night He is accessible to us 24/7. There is a Song I truly LOVE whenever I just get so discouraged it is a popular song but it truly strengthens me it is Called My Deliver well maybe that is not the title but I am going to post the words to this song as I think it fits for this advancing close of this age and You know we all are longing to See our Deliver Coming in ALL HIS GLORY! Now if that doesn't remind us of how blessed we are I just don't know what will! Blessings to All!

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A federal judge in Wisconsin ruled the National Day of Prayer unconstitutional Thursday, saying the day amounts to a call for religious action.

U.S. District Judge Barbara Crabb wrote that the government can no more enact laws supporting a day of prayer than it can encourage citizens to fast during Ramadan, attend a synagogue or practice magic.

Brothers and Sisters in Christ I know we are not Shocked but to me this is just one more Nail in the Coffin of our Republic and Our Freedom When we have Judges ruling unconstitutionally and getting by with it we all know Apathy has gripped most so called Christians Where are the Thousands of Christians professing to love God sitting at home or warming a pew and rejoicing at some other Jesus' feet this should out rage Christians all over America and drive them to action yet they still can not hear nor can they see what is paralyzing our Nation I am disgusted beyond belief to Have land defiled with Pagan statues and excuse my language but Obelisks and we know what they represent erected upon OUR Land and to Slap Father in the Face with more and more who deny our very foundation upon a Nation Under God makes me want to just want to shake some sense into these idiots. I realize it will get much worse however to me this is a personal slap in the face and I am so over " White Guilt" I am proud to be Anglo Saxon and even prouder to Be A Christian I don't mean puffed up and full of myself No I am talking about the pride of having some moral decency the ability to resist being led by the nose of those who would destroy this Nation and try to wipe the Name of Jesus Christ off the face of this Earth HA!! that will never happen. WE are seeing their Mask being stripped from their face and the hand of the Shadow government being exposed for what it is a sham of illusion and evil so vile no decent person would ever follow after the taste for blood and power this race lusts for. They are a murdering bunch and they know they are doomed they are so blind they actually believe they will wipe Gods seed from this earth I can't believe how incredibly stupid they actually are the crated actually over throwing the Creator of this earth, all creatures, the universe(s) tell me how insane can anyone be we can see their cunning and how they have twisted the truth obscured it and have stolen what does not belong to them and more death and destruction follows in their wake but God is Still All Mighty God and God is Still in control and God is Still the God of This Nation no matter what laws or what judge tries to say different but this makes me Angry at those who should be hearing and don't seem to be able to.
